Jewelry Care
Thoughtful care helps preserve the finish, color, and appearance of your ARARA jewelry.
Everyday care
- Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, sleeping, or doing household work.
- Avoid direct contact with perfume, lotions, cosmetics, hairspray, cleaning products, chlorine, and salt water.
- Put jewelry on after cosmetics have dried, and remove it before changing clothes when possible.
- Do not repeatedly bend or force adjustable pieces beyond what is needed for a comfortable fit.
Cleaning
Wipe each piece gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth after wear. Do not use abrasive cleaners, rough brushes, toothpaste, or chemical dips unless a product-specific instruction explicitly recommends them.
Sterling silver can naturally develop tarnish over time. A cloth made specifically for sterling silver may be used gently. For plated pieces, use only a soft dry cloth to avoid wearing away the finish.
Stones and delicate details
Gemstones, pearls, enamel, resin, and delicate settings can react differently to moisture, heat, pressure, and chemicals. Handle them carefully and follow any additional guidance shown on the product page.
Storage
Store jewelry clean and dry, away from direct sunlight and humidity. Keep pieces separated in individual pouches or compartments to reduce scratching, tangling, and friction between different metals and stones.
